When Charging Light stays RED & Never turns White.

When Charging my Jawbone the red indicator light goes on, but does not turn white indicating it's fully charged. How can I fix this?

Have you tried resetting your Jawbone? Give that a try, and if the LED still doesnt turn white after being on the charger for an hour, give us a call and we will do some further troubleshooting: 1-800-JAWBONE.  Thanks!

When go to charge mine it's a pain to get my jawbone connected to the charger. When i do sometimes the light will stay red until i disconnect it after i realize it's not turning white and reconnect it and then it will turn white after a short period of time.

If you are never getting a white charging light, please give us a call so we can help you troubleshoot the issue.  If it does turn white after disconnecting and reconnecting it to the charger, then it should be completely charged.

Yep, my new Jawbone Prime fell at the first fence only 5 minutes after unpacking!!!! Red light will not go off. This is such a basic issue I hope my expectations of this expensive headset is not about to be dashed. 

Help me please. I have emailed Jawbone support but this is extremely worrying. I haven't even paired it yet, it is straight out of the box.

Well, Jawbone responded within 24 hours and I reset it as described below- it worked and all is right in the world now. Working a treat.

To reset your Jawbone, please simply follow the steps listed below:

1. Press and hold down the Talk Button on the Jawbone. (for an illustration, visit http://aliph.custhelp.com/cgi-bin/aliph.cfg/php/enduser/std_adp.php?p_faqid=92)

2. Connect the Jawbone to the USB charger cable. (The cable needs to be plugged into an active USB port or to an electrical outlet via the Wall Charger unit.)

3. Release the Talk Button. (If the reset is successful, the LED Indicator Light should glow red.)

4. Disconnect the Jawbone from the USB charger cable.

Once the reset has been performed please allow the Jawbone to charge fully until the solid white LED light shows; this should take about one hour.  Then, whether the white light shows or not, please use the Jawbone normally and note how much talk/standby time you get from the battery.  If the problem is not resolved we would need to recommend exchanging the Jawbone Prime.

I have the ICON with this problem. In fact this is my second ICON with the same problem. I'm starting to wonder if there is something else that is the common factor though. Been through the steps to reset and have used both the charger and the computer to charge, will not change to white even after 10 hours on the charger. Question: ICON has voice stating hours of talk time remaining, what is MAX suppose to say. My states "About 4 hours of talk time remaining". It does get about 4 hours.

Thanks for sharing these details with us, Tonebias!  I'm sorry to hear you've now had two ICONS with this same charging issue. It's rather unusual for multiple headsets to have the same problem, so we'd love to help you troubleshoot the matter and resolve it once and for all.  Please give us a call at 1-800-JAWBONE when you can; we're always happy to help and the reset for the ICON is a bit different than the one outlined above. 

With a full charge on the Jawbone you should receive four hours of talk time or about a week of standby time, so it sounds like the battery is performing properly, at least off the charger.

It worked great for a week then the red light stayed on and when I power up I have 30 seconds of power and it dies.
