jawbone prime blinks RED

i give my jawbone prime a full charge.. LED color changes from red to white.. after one day.. of no talking and just on stand by... the LED blinks red. dosnt this mean its low battery? or does the low battering blink faster in red? thanks

Hi there,

 

Here is a full like of the LED light indications.  Take note of the number of seconds between each red flash, and you should be able to figure out the issue!

 

 

Jawbone status/mode LED indicator light status Incoming tone
Powered ON Glows WHITE for 2 seconds Three ascending tones
Powered OFF Glows RED for 2 seconds Three descending tones
Pairing Mode RED and WHITE alternately N/A
Standby Mode (the Jawbone is connected to a device, but not on an active call) Flashing WHITE every 8 seconds N/A
Idle Mode (the Jawbone is on, but not connected to a device) Flashing WHITE every 6 seconds One beep
Bluetooth Link Drops Flashing RED every 8 seconds One beep
Out of Range Flashing RED every 8 seconds One beep
On an Active Call No LED light while on an active call N/A
Back in Range (Link Restored) Once reconnected, the LED pattern is same as Standby Three ascending tones
Low Battery Flashing RED every 6 seconds One beep every 2 minutes
Depleted Battery No LED light N/A
Charging (while plugged into an active charger) Glows RED N/A
Charging Complete (while plugged into an active charger) Glows WHITE N/A

What I am doing when the led is always off. You wrote depleted battery - but I bought it half a year ago.

I am already 'crushed' because this is my second jawbone

If you're never seeing a light on your headset then your Jawbone is not functioning properly.  Please give us a call at 1-800-JAWBONE to troubleshoot and resolve this matter.  You can also send me a private message with your contact information so I can arrange a call back.  Simply click on "JawboneEmma" above my avatar and then select the private message option in my profile on the right hand side of the screen.
